This Panamera did not start life on a dealership floor, but at Porsche itself in Stuttgart, as a demonstrator from headquarters. You can see that in the options list. It was not put together by a fleet manager with a budget, but by the brand itself, to show what a Panamera can be. The result is a Sport Turismo in GT Silver Metallic in the rare Platinum Edition trim, fully finished in high-gloss black: window surrounds, Porsche logo, model designation, mirrors and door handles. No chrome, no green brake calipers. The bonnet, front fenders and front bumper have been protected since new with PPF paint-protection film. THE BATTERY, WITH CERTIFICATE The biggest question with a used plug-in hybrid is the condition of the high-voltage pack. On 23 September, the 111-point program at the official Porsche dealership will also follow. Warranty extension is possible there, at the buyer’s expense. From the inspection report: mechanically in good condition, no signs of past damage, air conditioning and all functions working, all documents and two keys present. Minor signs of use in the paint are largely polishable, the rear seat shows some loose stitching. No structural damage.BEHIND THE WHEEL In the morning it sets off quietly and fully electric. Good for most daily trips, and thanks to the 7.2 kW on-board charger, the battery is full again in about an hour and a half. Put it in Sport and the 2.9 biturbo V6 joins in, together making 462 hp, with a sports exhaust with active valve control that makes no secret of it. On the motorway it settles back into travel mode on the adaptive air suspension, with Porsche InnoDrive, head-up display and ventilated comfort seats.
