A classic Shadow VT500 C, Canadian import with rectangular headlight. Rare in the Netherlands. Custom seat (by previous owner), speedometer (miles) was replaced after it failed with another one (kilometers), but unfortunately it no longer works either. Windshield is aftermarket, turn signals were replaced by the previous owner because the original ones were poorly visible. After having the motorcycle checked, the following issues came up: • Valve cover gasket damaged • Fuel tap leaks • Right front fork seal leaks • Water pump needs to be checked • Speedometer broken • Valve adjustment recommended. • Fan does not turn on. I did not have this repaired. The motorcycle has been in my possession for 10 years and has had maintenance every other year. Explanation of mileage: this was no longer correct in 2017 after the miles counter broke. The odometer counter broke in 2020, and the speedometer failed in 2024. (Speed was measured using navigation) It is now time for this motorcycle to find a new enthusiast.
