Jaguar XK8 Convertible 1999 - California import - project Jaguar XK8 convertible from 1999 with 77,570 miles. Originally from California and recently imported into the Netherlands. Interesting project with a clean VIN report and mainly cosmetic work required. The car starts, runs and drives. Engine runs well with correct oil pressure. Due to a long period of storage the car is being sold as a project vehicle and a full service inspection is recommended. The engine is currently in failsafe mode (not further investigated). The body is very solid but the paint shows damage from the California sun. The bonnet, trunk lid and several other panels have clear coat damage and require partial repainting. Headlights need replacement or refurbishment. Beige leather interior (Cashmere) with signs of use. Driver seat has some cracks. Convertible top works properly.
