Hello and a very lovely good afternoon! :) I am selling my Kawasaki ER-6n here, built in 2008, with 650 cc and 72 hp. About the motorcycle: • just under 40,000 km, still being ridden at the moment • I am the second owner • I have ridden it about 15,000 km over the last 2 years • new chain at 25,000 km • new ergonomic handlebars • new grips • new wheel bearings at 35,000 km • TÜV until June 2027 • registered until November inclusive I have been riding motorcycles for 7 years and started back then with a Simson S51 Enduro. The ER-6n was then my first proper motorcycle with plenty of power and has given me a lot of joy over the last two years. But I have now bought an Aprilia Shiver 900 and would therefore like to part with it this autumn. I rode the ER-6n almost exclusively in dry weather, treated it like my personal treasure, and maintained it accordingly. Before every ride, I warmed it up for 10 to 15 minutes, and I regularly changed the oil and tires at the start of the season in March/April. Of course, after just under 40,000 km it also has signs of use. The previous owner had a tip-over, which caused a slight dent in the tank and cosmetic scratches on the mirrors on the left side (see pictures 8 & 9). However, these are purely cosmetic defects and technically it rides just butter-smooth. The parallel twin engine is super robust, quiet at low rpm, but when you really open the throttle it has a very sporty sound. I would be happy if it goes to someone looking for a reliable and affordable motorcycle to get started with. Roughly the same way it was for me back then. I had a really great time with the ER-6n and now I’m all the more excited about the Shiver 900 ^^ A test ride is pretty much always possible by arrangement. It is registered until November, has TÜV until June 2027, and can be test ridden at any time. If desired, delivery is of course included free of charge and I will bring it over on its last ride and take the train back home, which I had done the same way back then with my Suzuki GS500.
