Absolutely for the enthusiast: the timeless Maserati Quattroporte M139, or the fifth generation designed by Pininfarina. Secretly the most beautiful, but that is personal. Those in the know know the specs by heart, so I won’t list them here. It is the 4.2 variant (indeed, the Ferrari F136 V8) with the desirable ZF gearbox. And the exterior color combination and beige upholstery: that’s how you want it, right? Fully Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, brutal V8, naturally aspirated, they don’t make them like this anymore... At the end of 2020, it was made factory new by Stipt. That means the sticky buttons issue was solved. Not cleaned, but truly fixed: the buttons will never be sticky again. The lower section is factory new as well as the headliner. The leather has of course been used, but you won’t find one from 2007 in the same condition for this price. For the self-employed: yes, you can drive this as a youngtimer (also next year). Have you been hesitating for a long time about driving a Quattroporte? Stop hesitating and just try it and enjoy it. I have driven it wonderfully for over 2 years without technical problems. Fuel-efficient? No, not really, but you don’t buy this car for the consumption, you buy it for the experience. The car was dealer-maintained before purchase, and I have always gone to an official Maserati specialist (recommended if you live nearby!). It has a brand-new set of front tires. This car is looking for someone who loves to drive it, not a dealer or collector to park it under a cover. You will also get that cover, should you not want to leave it standing in the snow during winter. With its weight distribution, this is the ultimate driver’s car, so you really want to drive it from time to time. Bidding is allowed, but check comparable QPs with the same year of manufacture and mileage. Then you will see that this is absolutely a good buy, especially in a condition that you won’t easily find in the Netherlands.
