Description
Outstanding Jaguar MK VIII, in a Hamburg private collection for 12 years. Date of production: January 20, 1958. This vehicle is “Matching Numbers” and was considered the fastest production saloon in the world at the time, powered by a 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine with 209 hp and an original Borg Warner 3-speed automatic transmission. Pure driving pleasure! An identical model was the official company car of “Queen Mum,” the mother of Queen Elizabeth II, for decades. I bought the vehicle in 2014 in England from a renowned Rolls-Royce authorized dealer, restored “Nut & Bolt.” In addition, I have invested EUR 38,000.00 with receipts to bring this special MK VIII to a technically perfect condition at a specialist company in Hamburg. The car has just received a new braking system and a new TÜV inspection (without defects). At the time I bought it, this vehicle was still registered with the original license plate “YAT 500” from the year of first registration, 1958. This MK VIII presents itself in its factory color combination “Cornish Grey over Mist Grey” and the dark blue leather interior trim (original). The “Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate” is available. All original onboard tools are present. The car has a large sunroof. The walnut veneer is in top condition — a dream! Extensive “History File” from England available. In my opinion, there is no better Jaguar MK VIII on the market.
