The convertible season is now more or less over, so this S4 Cabriolet can go to a new owner. I’ve driven it for a while with great pleasure, but now it’s time for something else. And if you’re still looking for a convertible at the end of the season, this is of course a nice one: a 4.2 V8 quattro with 344 hp, automatic transmission, and a wonderful Milltek sports exhaust. The V8 has a lovely deep, present sound, but while cruising calmly it remains comfortable and not tiring. The car drives and shifts well. The engine runs smoothly and there are no leaks of oil, coolant, or any other fluids. The air conditioning also works and gets nice and cold. A few thousand kilometers ago, the complete timing chain set was replaced, including the chains, all guides, tensioners, and the associated gaskets and seals. So no corners were cut here. Documentation of this is available. The original booklets have also been neatly kept up over the years. Visually, the car was recently polished in a three-stage process and treated with a glass coating, which makes the black paint look very nice. The light/white leather interior is tidy and looks great against the black exterior. The convertible roof opens and closes properly, does not leak, and looks neat. The original wind deflector with cover is included. The car sits on original RS4 wheels. These do have some damage. There is also some damage to the front and rear bumpers. Otherwise, the car is very tidy and free of rust.
