Description For sale: Hymer Grand Canyon S CrossOver – full options & rare, from first owner. Offered for sale: a truly top-class camper van, a Hymer Grand Canyon S CrossOver (Fiat Ducato) – full options and in top condition. This is a very rare version: the CrossOver is hardly ever offered, is hugely popular and also holds its value extremely well. Anyone looking for a complete, tough and compact panel van camper that you can set off with straight away need look no further. In May 2026, the camper was lifted all around by 4 cm and fitted with brand-new Koni shock absorbers and springs all around (an expensive upgrade) for higher and more comfortable road behavior. In addition, it rides on a beautiful satin gunmetal wheel set from Rogue with BFGoodrich tires – a set that gives it a truly rugged look. The camper is equipped with a very practical and popular bike rack for 3 bicycles. This rack swings out to the side, so you always have full access to the storage compartment – ideal in practice. The rack can also be folded up when there are no bicycles on it. The layout is mainly focused on lots of cupboard space, convenient for a family, with a large, tall refrigerator that can hold an enormous amount. The kitchen has a Dometic double gas hob and an extra shelf/worktop to create more space while cooking. The spacious pop-top roof offers full double beds both below and above, both with cold-foam mattresses on the comfortable Froli Star disc spring system – wonderful sleeping for four people. In our opinion the layout is perfect: standing room everywhere, lots of wild camping and winter camping, all-terrain tires and sufficient height. Shower and toilet inside, handy for wild camping and cold areas. We have used the camper with great pleasure with four people, from -20 in Norway to 45 degrees in Greece. The Ducato is nice and wide, so sleeping across the width is possible, and yet it is still 6 meters long, which means you can park almost anywhere and often turn even on narrow roads and drive through small villages. In short: a unique, complete and well-maintained Hymer CrossOver from the first owner. Feel free to come and have a look and sit in it. The gray fabric upholstery was a conscious choice when ordering: it is nice and warm when it is cold outside, and does not get hot when the camper is standing in the sun; stains are not easily visible. We did not find leather practical, so this option was deliberately not chosen.
