Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC (C107) | 1979 | California Import | V8 | Silver Blue Metallic For sale is a 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC (C107), imported from California, USA. The vehicle presents itself in the elegant exterior color Silver Blue Metallic, which suits the classic lines of the SLC very well. It is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 gasoline engine paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Considering its age, the vehicle is in very well-kept and well-preserved condition. Even after more than 45 years, it has retained its classic character. The engine runs well and the vehicle has been serviced, including replacement of the fluids. However, there are a few minor issues that we would like to address openly. The braking system needs to be checked and bled. In addition, the dashboard has a small crack, so refurbishing the interior would be advisable. Apart from that, we are not aware of any further visual defects. The odometer currently shows around 156,000 km. The Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC is one of Mercedes-Benz’s interesting classic coupés. Compared with the open SL, the SLC offers a closed body with a fixed roof, a longer wheelbase, and a high level of driving comfort. Together with the V8 engine and automatic transmission, it offers the typical driving experience of a classic Mercedes from that era. The vehicle is particularly interesting for lovers of classic Mercedes-Benz models who are looking for a well-preserved C107 with California origins and would like to carry out minor work according to their own preferences. For serious inquiries, we will gladly provide further information and additional photos. An inspection is possible by prior arrangement. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA. We prefer communication in English. Thank you for your understanding.
