Description
For sale is an absolute enthusiast’s and collector’s item: a Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet (997.2) from the first registration month of May 2008, with an exceptional and fully traceable history. The history – a piece of Porsche history: This vehicle is one of the very first facelift models built worldwide (among the first 20 units produced). It served Porsche AG as an official pre-production and press car and was extensively staged at the time, including for Auto Zeitung. The original license plate at the time was S-GO 1153. The associated reports as well as two original print editions, on the covers of which the vehicle is featured, are part of the package and underline the museum-like character of this 911. After its use at Porsche (until 2010 / approx. 33,000 km), the vehicle came into the possession of a company in 2011 (driven by the managing director) and was subsequently transferred into private ownership (overall continuous owner history, effectively driven within a close circle). Facts & equipment: • Engine & transmission: 3.8L direct injection combined with the modern PDK transmission (dual-clutch) and the Sport Chrono Package – one of the earliest series configurations of this kind. • Interior: Exclusive blue leather interior, seat heating and seat ventilation. • Tires: Almost new semi-slick tires (Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 with Porsche approval). • Maintenance: Full service history (maintenance carried out at Porsche, invoices and documentation available). Includes a copy of the original first vehicle registration document and TÜV reports documenting the pre-series registration (“pre-production vehicle pursuant to §XY”). Condition & honest faults: The vehicle is in a genuine, age-appropriate used condition with normal signs of age, but to the best of my knowledge it has never been in an accident. • One of the rear wheels has cosmetic marks on the inside from a car wash chain (checked by Porsche and TÜV and deemed technically irrelevant). • The air conditioning system is currently not working / seized, as it was never used by the owner (repair was not carried out due to non-use). • The soft top is in solid condition, both technically and visually, appropriate for its age. • The vehicle was always kept protected in a garage over the winter. The next TÜV inspection is due next year. Due to the low mileage in recent years, I am now parting with this rolling automotive milestone with a heavy heart. A rare 911 with unmistakable provenance for true connoisseurs – if you are seriously interested, I look forward to your message!
