Hello, It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our Model X 100D, which has been a faithful companion to our family for years. Whether it was a weekend trip or a vacation: we never had any space problems with this car. Suitcases, children’s gear, skis, beach equipment, bicycles — everything always fit in. Add to that the detachable tow hitch, which can tow unbraked trailers up to 2200 kg, as well as the frunk under the front hood, an additional trunk that you don’t even have in an internal combustion car. We have traveled far and wide with the car: several times to France, all the way to Denmark, and across Germany. Thanks to the Supercharger network and automatic route planning with charging stops, it was completely relaxed. We used the charging breaks of about 30–40 minutes for food and coffee, and everyone arrived more rested than before, often charging a bit longer because the game on the screen still had to be finished. Our absolute favorite feature is the adaptive air suspension. On the highway, the car sits low on the road to minimize drag. On forest and field roads, you simply raise it at the push of a button and can get over uneven terrain without any problems. The car even remembers the places where you adjusted the height and automatically raises itself the next time. Further highlights: The Falcon Wing doors open upward, are a real eye-catcher, and make getting in with children easy even in tight parking spaces. To demonstrate them, the car can also dance.... The huge panoramic windshield extends up above your heads and makes every drive an experience. With app-based climate preconditioning, you get into a cool car in summer and a warm car in winter. The tow hitch is approved for up to 2,250 kg braked, and over-the-air updates regularly bring new features. I am currently renewing the TÜV, and I have often been able to do the (simple) repairs myself (the service manual is freely available and describes everything in great detail, and original parts can be obtained from the Tesla Service Center).
